Group of eight letters with covers from Obergefr. Heinz Schonfeld to his girlfriend, October through December, 1944 as the regiment was withdrawing from the Soviet Union in preparation for its last stand in the defense of Berlin.
Each of the covers bears a motto at top, mostly: “”My Struggle, Your Work, our War!” with contents un-translated.
