Japanese print book set maps of Japan, including the volume on the Ainu of Hokkaido which features woodblocks of seal hunting and other customs of these mysterious people. There are fold-out views of the important harbors: Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Osaka, Hakodate, etc., as well as many fine regional maps.

Scholar Kathryn Tanaka mentioned that, “This book is really beautiful, I was curious and looked it up. Looks like Waseda has a digital copy, but not of all the volumes.”
