A rare collection of 35 secret Jewish Calendars from the Soviet Union dating from the 1950s to the 1970s – most from the 1960s.

Due to fear of government reprisals, these calendars were handwritten and copied in secret. About 10 of the 35 of the calendars are photocopies of handwritten calendars.
A vivid reminder of the determination and efforts of some of Soviet Jewry to preserve their faith, despite the constant fear of repercussions.
