Commemorative Discharge Sake Cup
DATE
Century: 20th (1901-2000)
This is another 除隊記念 “commemoration of military discharge” sake cup.
The “Moshi-Moshi” motif is intriguing. Perhaps it was a Communications Battalion? The golden script reads “jomaku kinen” which means “In Commemoration of Discharge (from military service)”. Recruits always received these cups upon completion of their service time.
