Desk and Pictures at Topping and Webb’s Yankees Office at 57th and 5th Avenue

Century: 20th (1901-2000)
Notes: 1945-1964

A Jofco, Indiana executive wooden desk, of pine and softwoods, with central drawer with penholders and key, two sliding wooden writing surfaces one to each side, one double drawer file holder and four single drawers arranged on each side.

Two pictures which adorned his office:
-Small, Frank O., “A Stolen Base,” Boston, colored lithograph, framed and glazed (c.1910)

-Moore, J., “Bendigo. Wm Thompson, Champion of England,” hand-colored aquatint of a boxer framed and glazed. (c.1845)

An interesting combination of Dan Topping’s desk and the pictures which hung in at Topping and Webb’s Yankees office at 57th and 5th Avenue from 1945 to 1964.
