Documents recording 363 Chinese settlers in a Dutch ship by society “Campbell and Co” lacking permits. Contains:• Captain’s general request for authorization to import 363 Chinese settlers arriving in Havana on a ship from Macao. The import authorization of 10,000 settlers in two years had expired, that is why asking new authorization. Having failed for not having press meet your partner, at that time in Europe. • Documents of the Spanish consulate in China. Specifies the details of the ship, cargo, carrying settlers. Were submitted all documents except the permission or license to import Chinese Law.
