Hungarian anti-Semitic cartoon postcard.
The cartoon refers to the Communist revolution in Hungary which resulted in a short-lived government (which included some Jews) for several months in 1919. The card shows the communist-Jewish commissar of the government standing before hanged Hungarian peasants still decorated with medals from World War I as wives and children weep. It suggests that the Jews were guilty of both the lost war and the excesses against non-communist and anti-communists that occurred during the revolution.
