COMPONENTS: Elephant Folio; not paginated. Original binding of full dark brown calf with six gilt surrounded raised bands to the spine; bound tightly in leather.
CONDITION: Book Condition: Very Good. The original calf binding is rubbed and has wear please see close up pictures for exact condition. Internally the Bible is in very good condition, a few marks and a little light browning here and there. The frontispiece has wear as does the title page. No leaves are loose and the actual book itself is excellent with almost no foxing.
NOTES: Excellent for reference with extensive Explanation, Commentary etc. Straight from the clearance of a large country house in rural Suffolk, fresh to the marketplace.

An complete Family Bible, for reference with extensive Explanation, Commentary etc. The frontispiece is attractive and unusual showing a number of Biblical scenes in vignette Adam and Eve, The Deluge, The Nativity, The Last Judgement. Containing many elegant and striking engravings throughout of Biblical Scenes.
