An old and original Muslim manuscript from the old medieval walled city of Harar – the city of Harari tribe and city of mosques, a centre of Muslim learning, a city which once struck its own local currency, and still has its own unique language – has long been regarded by the outside world as a city of mystery and romance. This undated Islamic manuscript consists mainly of copied texts from the Quran. The manuscript is made of hand made paper.
