Japanese print book encyclopedia set: Kokumin No Takara . This set was published in the year of the Japanese International Exposition, and there is an image of the entrance to the exposition, as well as products produced in Japan and exhibited.

There are many illustrations, flags of countries around the World, Maps, an English Dictionary; sections on Cooking, Western Table Manners (don’t talk with food in your mouth, etc), World Geography, Astrology, Constellation Charts, Hairstyles, Tips for Travelers, Fortune Telling, etc.

According to scholar Peter Kornicki, “The illustrations are copperplate and so is some of the text. The loose piece of paper is a receipt for a postal item.”

Sugihiko Uchida, “A receipt of a postal matter. The family name of the sender and recipient is Yagi (八木).”
