A rare nineteenth century hand-done Japanese painting of Christ praying in the Garden of Gethsemane.

According to scholar R Shaldjian Morrison, “Okina 翁 means old venerable man. Whoever this Minamoto (the artist?) is, he is an 86-year-old venerable man.”
