Japanese seal and stamp book with a rare stamp of the Tokyo Olympics to be held that year, but canceled due to the outbreak of WWII.
According to scholar Natsue Hayward, some of the stamps included are the:
-controversial Yasukuni Shrine where the war-dead including A Class war criminals are enshrined and Japanese PMs visit.
-Sino-Japanese war
-Founding of Manchuria, and
-Great Nanjing Air Raid.
