Mexican Colonial “Pureza de Sangre.” Blood purity of Isidro Aguirre Escorzias, from Tulancingo in the State of Hidalgo. From the fathers side of the family, they owned the Hacienda de San Antonio, that had a silver mine; from the mothers side, they also owner mines, in Pachuca. One of his ancestors is mentioned as being notary of the Inquisition.  “Diligencias de Limpieza, Legitimidad y demases que se expresa de Don Ysidro Aguirre Escorzias, y Doña Maria Blasa Tello de Lara, aprobadas por el Excelentísimo Señor Virrey, y mandamiento  de Amparo en la cuasi posesión de Españoles así en orden a los dichos como a sus hijos legítimos Don Antonio de Eugenio y Julian”With 2 signatures of Viceroys: Pedro de Cebrián y Agustín and Juan Francisco de Güemes y Horcasitas. Due to the change of Viceroys, the document has the peculiarity of being signed by 2 different Viceroys of the New Spain.
