A very unique set of autographs from rock legends, Nirvana, which featured Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic, as well as Saturday Night Live comedian, Phil Hartman. Obtained during their SNL performance at NBC. Held in storage for 26 years before being acquired by the Melikian Collection.

These were obtained in person by the seller, and at a very fragile time in Cobain’s life, as he had actually gotten so addicted to heroin, that he almost suffered an accidental suicide the week of the show. The producers said it was a miracle the band was able to perform, but a miraculous performance they gave with “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Territorial Pissings”. Cobain ended up missing the after party (a rarity, as the after parties are legendary at SNL), and luckily was revived by Courtney Love the next day.

Also obtained was legendary comedian and voice actor, Hartman, who himself would tragically pass away just a six years later.
