Scholar Sugihiko Uchida noted that, “The Chronicle of Peaceful Times under Tokugawa-Clan Vol.1 is written as the title. The drawings include the plan of Osaka castle (大坂城), the plan for Shinobazunoike (不忍池) at Ueno, and the plan of Nijou castle (二条城 written here as 二條御城 in Kyoto.”
