Japanese poster with image of Hitler; it mentions news of the war in Europe and includes a map.
It probably dates after the German attack on Poland. The title is “Great War in Europe!” (Ōshū Dai-senran!) It is not entirely inconceivable that it was used before September 1939, but the “Great War“ metaphor and the exclamation mark indicate that something bigger is being reported here… So, probably published at the time of Germany‘s invasion of Poland. This is a poster that was an insert in a newspaper, the Tokyo Asahi Shimbu.
