The Samaritans practice Biblical, as opposed to Rabbinic, Judaism. The schism between the Samaritans and the Jews may be traced back to the end of the First and the beginning of the Second Tempe. Today, there are around 650 Samaritans living in two communities in Israel, Nablus and Holon. They may well be the tiniest ethno-religious community in the world today
