Sanskrit and Hindi Manuscript

This work consists of five different works:

1 -The “Corasitantra”, a Vaishnavite hagiography in Hindi

2 – A Sanskrit treatise on alchemy in seven chapters called “adhyayas” identifying itself only as the “Sarasmgraha”, or “Essential Compendium”. Numbered on the rectos up to folio 47, then interrupted text 3, then continued up to 52. There is no colophon indicating that the work is complete. Its seven chapters give instructions for the preparation of the following alchemical and magic substances: 1. calcinations, 2. powders, 3. pills, 4. decoctions, 5. pastes, 6. oils, 7. mixtures.

3 – The “Kokasara”, treatise on erotic arts. A Hindi verse compendium in fifteen sections on the erotic arts based on the Sanskrit Kokasastra.

4 – A Sanskrit Shaivite Tantric scripture presented as a dialogue between the legendary sage Dattatreya and Siva.
