Separatist Black Bible
A first edition, copiously illustrated Holy Bible made for the Hebrew Israelites. This is the King James version of the Bible, edited and illustrated for a strictly black audience. Firmly separatist, the text of this Bible is filled with the language of the black radical movements of the ’60s and ’70s. The illustrations include a drawing of the Pope wearing a cap with “KKK” on it. No date is given by the publisher, but according to OCLC–only one copy located–this Bible was published between 1969 and 1970
