Soviet Union Executes Russian Sailor for Discrediting Heads of State.

Soviet criminal dossier issued by the Third Department of the People’s Commission of the Navy, ordering the execution of sailor Vasili Grigorevich Dementyev for carrying out anti-Soviet agitation and discrediting the Heads of Soviet government.

According to the dossier, Dementyev, who served in the White Sea Navy Flotilla on a minesweeping ship, would be “sentenced to death without confiscation of belongings, because of lack of those.”

Largely untranslated.
