A group of ‘Tea Time’ art cards from “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny
Carson.”
These cards were used in the ‘Tea Time Movie’ show with fast talking host Art Fern (played by Johnny Carson). Art Fern would announce fake movies, with odd casts, and nonsensical titles, then advertise insane products, assisted by the attractive Matinee Lady. On giving directions to a fake store he was touting, Art Fern would show a spaghetti-like road map, sometimes with a literal ‘ fork in the road’.
