Of the approximately 360 extant manuscripts, only about 50 can compare to this one in age, and only a handful of those are complete. In recent generations, this manuscript has acquired fame as a cultural icon of a quite extraordinary kind. Carbon dating at the University of Arizona in 1999 date it between 1,000-1,190 AD).
