The three documents are: 1) A letter sent from B. B. Minot, San Francisco, to the managers of the Pima County Bank, Tombstone, returning a bank statement that had been sent by mistake. The letter is dated August 9, 1881. 2) A letter sent from a customer in Dos Cabezas, Arizona Territory, dated September 13, 1881, to the Pima County Bank, Tombstone, complaining about not receiving a $50 credit owed him and a recent bank statement. 3) Western Union Telegraph from F.A Benjamin, San Francisco, to P. Solomon, Tombstone, dated December 8, 1881, requesting “the numbers of the certificates for Eighteen thousand shares of Ingersoll stock delivered to Colby and proctor in settlement of suit.”The telegram, on a Western Union Telegraph form, refers to a suit brought against the owners of the Bob Ingersoll Mine by J. M. Proctor and P. T. Colby over title to the mine. The Ingersoll Mine was one of Tombstone’s most productive enterprises.
