Two Handwritten Documents

According to scholar Sugihiko Uchida, “Seemingly the list of various items including garments each of which is accompanied with its value. I can read just a part of this, however.”

According to scholar Alexander Vesey, “Looking at the entries with the same characters (for example 小袖) the calligraphy varies. It would appear that different people recorded these amounts.

Regarding the way of writing the amounts, what does the メ mean in this case?
For example, 「六メ七百五拾. My gut sense for the meaning (which could be very wrong) is ‘6 [mon] me 750 [mon]’ I’d like to know what the actual reading is here.”
