NOTES: “One of the most impressive TGP posters is Angel Bracho´s Victory of 1945, printed in celebration of the Allied victory in World War II.

It is typical of TGP posters in that it is ardently anti-facist and is printed in eye catching red and black” (Lyle W. Williams. Evolution of a Revolution. Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2006).

This is the most famous TGP posters, and rightfully so: it is a beautiful piece of artwork. Included here for reference are photos from the book "Mexico and Modern Printmaking" where this poster receives a full page.

The book was made on the occasion of the exhibition by the same name. The exhibition was a real success, it was shown in Philadelphia, Nashville, Phoenix and San Antonio.
