“We Demand” racist posters. A group of angry monkeys demand their rights: “Down with Frank Buck,” “We Demand Peeled Bananas.” One of a series of 31 humorous posters created for the Socialist Labor Party, signed in the block with a “P” inside a shield. Attributed to Paul Hartzell by the Library of Congress, and to George “Pop” Hart in a pencil note in verso.
