WWII Japanese propaganda photograph set issued by the Imperial Japanese Navy Department in the wake of the Battle of the Solomons in August 1942. The 12 photographs show scenes of the battle. These are all early images issued by the Navy Department and still attached to the original back paper with government seals and paper insert explaining the images.
