Hearkening back to Sundays of childhoods past, when there was a mad dash for the funny papers, this exhibition explores the history of comic strips and their continued prevalence throughout art. The whole family is sure to enjoy the collection of both vintage comic strips and contemporary art infused with comic icons.

This summer, dash on over to the ASU Art Museum to explore comic strip history in our annual family-oriented exhibition. Funny Papers is a exciting mixture of old comic strips and contemporary art infused with comic icons. The whole family is sure to enjoy the exhibition’s hands-on activities and informational texts. You’ll leave laughing out loud — and wanting to draw some comics of your own.
