October’s Object of the Month is small but meaningful; it is a miniature wooden furniture set, handmade at the Buchenwald concentration camp.

Buchenwald was a Nazi forced labor camp in Germany, one of the first and largest of the concentration camps. It operated from 1937 until it was liberated by Allied forces in 1945.
